NYU alum Andrew Hongo’s thesis film “Legacy,” was recently screened at the Docutah International Film Festival and the UNSPOKEN Human Rights Festival.
Hongo has also been traveling with his films in Cambodia screening it in orphanages, drug rehab centers, and villages across the country.
Legacy, a riveting 40-minute documentary about Cambodian streetkids, will be screening on Wednesday, January 11th at 6pm as part of the New Filmmakers series. The screening will take place at Anthology Film Archives (Deren Theater) on the Lower East Side at 32 Second Avenue (at 2nd Street). New York Admission is $6 for the whole evening and tickets are available at the Anthology Box Office from 5:30pm the night of the screening.
